BusinessObjects BI Consultant

Virtus Consulting Group (VCG), based in Reston, Va, is searching for SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Consultants to support the implementation of business intelligence reporting applications. Consultants are responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of universes, reports, dashboards, and other reports. Consultants will be involved in helping define business requirements as well as working with the database administrators to architect solutions that meet the needs of the business. Consultants must also demonstrate knowledge SAP ECC and Business Warehouse (BW). Consultants will provide full life-cycle support, including requirements gathering, design, build and training. Consultants will install Business Intelligence instances in different environments, including test, development, and production.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in configuring, implementing, designing and developing Business Objects tools and Business Objects Universes
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Report and Dashboard design and development (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Dashboards (formerly Xcelsius)
  • Significant experience gathering and translating requirements from users
  • Strong experience working with QAAWS and/or LiveOffice
  • Strong experience using Universe design tool (formerly Universe Designer) and knowledge of CMC
